This evening will be centered around exploring disparities in education, funding, and resources across America's schools. The event will kick off with a guest speaker who was formerly a teacher in the Chicago public school district and is now their board's financial advisor. This will be followed up by the secretary-treasurer of the National Education Association, Noel Candelaria, to highlight the association's national budget of educational resource distribution. Finally, Dr. Elinor Williams, graduate of University of Pennsylvania, will speak on her current and past research of budgeting school districts' research post-COVID-19. A full dinner will be provided to all guests before we kick off our auction events. Our first auction will be donations from our partners - artwork, jewelry, and special antique items!
